For over 20 years, Gardiner Community Church has been blessed beyond measure by Marty Meyer’s speaking ministry at our youth retreats, church services, and training for missions trips. Marty did a great job equipping our students and leaders to both have a heart for God and for the advancement of the Kingdom. It really set us up for a powerful year of ministry. Marty inspired our kids to see God personally and intimately. He gave our students a sense of awe for God in a way they hadn’t really seen or experienced previously.
God miraculously brought Marty to lead our annual men’s retreat. We laughed and cried with Marty as he shared his life and walk with Jesus. He challenged us all to join in the adventure that happens when we say, “Use me Lord for your glory”.
Marty’s message has had an impact on all our lives. Even a year later, men are sharing how their prayer life has become more alive since Marty showed them how to “prayer walk” with Jesus. We came away from the retreat seeing that we too can help fulfill the Great Commission with the Holy Spirit living in us.
Marty Meyer has been a friend for many years. Whenever Marty speaks, God uses him to stir a passion in the hearts of God’s people to serve Him. His passion for Christ cannot go unnoticed. Over the past two decades I have invited Marty to speak at various camps and mission trips. Marty wears his life and passion on his sleeve. He loves God’s Word and has a deep desire to transfer that love into the lives of others. His story telling lures you in where he sets the hook with deep truths from our Heavenly Father.
